SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026: Notification Out for 9,124 Junior Associate Posts

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official recruitment notification (Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2026-27/17) for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. A total of 9,124 vacancies (7,680 regular + 1,444 backlog) are available across various SBI branches nationwide.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification (as on 31.12.2026): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. Final-year graduation students are also eligible to apply provisionally.
• Age Limit (as on 01.04.2026):
  • Minimum: 20 Years
  • Maximum: 28 Years
  • Age Relaxation: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10–15 years).

Selection Process

1. Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: Objective Online Test (100 Marks) covering English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.
2. Phase-II: Main Examination: Objective Online Test (200 Marks) covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.
3. Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Test in the specified local language of the opted state/UT (for candidates who haven’t studied the local language in 10th or 12th standard).
