Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Boundaries
- Agniveervayu (Science & Other Streams): Candidates must be born between July 1, 2005, and January 1, 2010 (both dates inclusive).
- Upper Age Limit: The upper age boundary on the date of enrollment must not exceed 22 years.
2. Educational Qualification (12th Pass or Equivalent)
- Science Subjects Entry:
- Passed 10+2 / Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English from an approved education board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR Passed a 3-year Engineering Diploma Course with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
- Other Than Science Subjects Entry:
- Passed 10+2 / Intermediate in any stream/subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant Entry:
- Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Selection Process Stages
Candidates must systematically clear all of the following sequential filters to find a place on the final merit roster:
1.Online Computer-Based Test (STAR):Phase 1.
Candidates take an objective test. Science stream covers Physics, Math, and English (60 mins). Other streams cover English, Reasoning, and General Awareness (RAGA) (45 mins).
2.Physical Fitness & Adaptability Tests:Phase 2.
Shortlisted candidates undergo physical assessment (running, push-ups, sit-ups) followed by Adaptability Tests I & II to check suitability for military conditions.
3.Medical Examination & Verification:Phase 3.
A thorough clinical screening by the IAF medical board. Document verification runs concurrently to validate all original school and birth certificates.
