New Hyundai Venue Officially Revealed

All-New 2025 Hyundai Venue Officially Revealed

Hyundai Motor India has officially unveiled the second-generation Venue compact SUV on October 24, 2025, ahead of its launch on November 4, 2025. This marks a complete redesign for the popular model, which has sold over 700,000 units in India since its debut in 2019. The new Venue adopts a bolder, more muscular stance inspired by Hyundai’s larger SUVs like the Creta and Palisade, with enhanced dimensions for improved road presence and interior space. Bookings are now open at Hyundai dealerships and online via the Click to Buy platform for a token amount of ₹25,000.

Exterior Design

The 2025 Venue features a revamped front fascia with a larger rectangular grille accented by dark chrome, quad-beam LED headlamps, and C-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The sides include sculpted character lines, bridge-type roof rails, and newly designed 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. At the rear, it sports horizon-style connected LED tail lamps, a dual-tone bumper with inverted L-shaped brake lights, and a silver skid plate for a rugged look.

Key dimensional upgrades include:

  • Length: 3,995 mm
  • Width: 1,800 mm (+30 mm over previous model)
  • Height: 1,665 mm (+48 mm)
  • Wheelbase: 2,520 mm (+20 mm)

These changes result in a more spacious cabin without exceeding the sub-4-meter compact SUV segment. Color options comprise six monotone shades: new Hazel Blue and Mystic Sapphire, plus Atlas White, Titan Grey, Dragon Red, and Abyss Black.

Interior and Features

The cabin has been reimagined with a premium dual-tone theme in Dark Navy and Dove Grey, featuring a terrazzo-textured crash pad and ambient lighting. Highlights include:

  • Dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays (one for the digital instrument cluster, one for infotainment).
  • 8-speaker Bose sound system.
  • Ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof.
  • Advanced connectivity: Hyundai’s Blue Link with over-the-air (OTA) updates, voice commands in six Indian languages, and connected car tech.
  • Safety suite: 6 airbags, ADAS Level 2 features (adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind-spot monitoring), 360-degree camera, and tyre pressure monitoring.

The new “HX” variant nomenclature (standing for “Hyundai Experience”) simplifies choices with 8 petrol and 4 diesel trims: HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX8, HX10 (petrol); HX2, HX5, HX7, HX10 (diesel).

Powertrain Options

The Venue retains its proven engine lineup, now with an automatic transmission option for the diesel:

EngineDisplacementPower/TorqueTransmission Options
Kappa Petrol (NA)1.2L83 PS / 114 Nm5-speed MT, 5-speed AT
Kappa Turbo Petrol1.0L120 PS / 172 Nm6-speed MT, 7-speed DCT
U2 CRDi Diesel1.5L116 PS / 250 Nm6-speed MT, 6-speed AT

Fuel efficiency figures are expected to remain competitive, around 18-23 kmpl depending on the variant.

Pricing and Launch

Expected to start at ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base petrol variant, rising to ₹14 lakh for top-end models—a slight premium over the current Venue due to the added features and size. Official pricing will be announced on launch day. Deliveries are slated to begin shortly after November 4, 2025, with the Venue N Line performance variant following soon.

Rivals and Expectations

The 2025 Venue will compete with the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and Mahindra XUV 3XO in India’s hotly contested sub-compact SUV segment. Hyundai aims to build on the Venue’s success with this “tech-up, go-beyond” evolution, targeting young buyers seeking style, space, and smart tech.
