Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Must possess NAC/NTC Certificate issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) in AOCP trade.
- Training/experience must be from Ordnance Factories under the erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board or MIL, specifically in manufacturing and handling of military explosives and ammunition.
- Ex-apprentices only; no other trades or qualifications accepted.
- Age Limit: 18 to 32 years as on the last date of application (November 8, 2025). Age relaxation as per Government of India norms: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwD, etc.
- Experience: Mandatory prior apprenticeship training in relevant Ordnance Factory settings.
- Other Requirements: Physically fit for hazardous work; must meet medical standards for handling explosives.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on merit in NCTVT marks (percentage scored in AOCP trade).
- Trade Test/Practical Test: For shortlisted candidates; 100 marks, focusing on practical skills in ammunition handling and safety protocols. Conducted likely within one month of application closure.
- Merit List: Final selection on combined NCTVT marks + Trade Test performance. Cut-off for calling candidates to be decided by OFDR.
- No written exam or interview; emphasis on hands-on competency.
Salary and Benefits
- Basic Pay: ₹19,900 per month + Dearness Allowance (DA) as per MIL rules.
