The operations targeted individuals in cities including Boston, Denver, Houston, Newark, New York City, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco. Specific cases included:
- Kevin Estuarde Hernandez, an 18-year-old from Guatemala, arrested in Everett, Massachusetts, by ERO Boston with other federal agencies. He is a suspected 18th Street gang member allegedly involved in a shooting between rival gangs.
- Jose Antonio Deras, a 45-year-old from El Salvador, arrested by ERO Denver. Previously denied temporary protected status in 2008 and ordered removed in 2009, he faces pending charges for felony sexual assault on a child.
- Misael Delgado-Carlos, a 35-year-old from Mexico, arrested by ERO Houston. Previously deported, she reentered illegally and has a conviction for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
- Eduardo Sanchez-Hernandez, a 32-year-old from Mexico, arrested by ERO Newark. He faces charges for sexual assault of a minor under 13.
- Litzy Janel Saavedra, a 26-year-old from Mexico, arrested by ERO New York City, with a 2022 conviction for third-degree felony rape.
- Jose Barrios-Bello, a 35-year-old from Mexico, arrested by ERO Salt Lake City, previously deported and convicted of methamphetamine distribution.
- Carlos Torres Valdovinos, a 46-year-old from Mexico, arrested by ERO San Francisco, with a felony conviction for oral copulation of a child. He was removed to Mexico on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
These arrests focused on individuals with criminal histories or those in the U.S. illegally, aligning with the Trump administration’s emphasis on public safety and immigration enforcement.
