Drake, Adin Ross Sued in Missouri for Promoting Stake.us

Drake, Adin Ross Sued in Missouri Class Action Over Stake.us Gambling Promotion Scam

Drake and Adin Ross just got hit with a bombshell class action lawsuit in Missouri. A local man claims the rap icon and streamer promoted illegal gambling on Stake.us, luring fans into a “highly addictive” trap disguised as fun.

Justin Killham, from Independence, Missouri, filed the 34-page complaint on October 27 in Jackson County Circuit Court. He accuses Drake (Aubrey Drake Graham), Adin Ross, and Stake.us parent Sweepstakes Limited (a Cyprus-based firm) of deceptive practices that violate the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act. Killham says he lost cash gambling on the site, thanks to their “fraudulent” hype.

Stake.us markets itself as a “social casino” with free-play Gold Coins. But buy a bundle, and you get Stake Cash—redeemable for real money after wins. Critics call this a sneaky sweepstakes loophole for illegal online gambling in states like Missouri, where casinos are banned (sports betting launches Dec. 1).

The suit’s juiciest claim? Drake and Ross pocket millions yearly from Stake for livestreams on Kick (Stake-backed). They flash massive bets—like Drake’s $8M monthly losses—but allegedly use “house money,” not their own, fooling viewers it’s “real risk.”

Drake’s role as Stake’s unofficial mascot is quietly corrosive—he’s glamorizing the platform to millions of impressionable fans,” the filing blasts. It targets teenagers via social media blasts.

Gaming attorney Daniel Wallach broke the news on X, calling it a “precedent-setting” push for influencer accountability in online gambling. His post exploded with 800+ likes.

X lit up: Dexerto‘s post hit 50K+ views, fans joking “Drake‘s losing streak goes legal.” FearBuck‘s clip racked up 200K views.

Stake fired back: “We reject the allegations… and will vigorously defend.” No word yet from Drake or Ross.

For U.S. fans, this hits home amid a sweepstakes casino crackdown. Stake faces suits in 7 states this year; California just banned the model. Missouri players could win damages, restitution, punitive awards—and an injunction halting Stake.us ops.

Killham’s team eyes hundreds in the class: any Missouri resident who lost on Stake in 5 years.

This Drake Adin Ross lawsuit could reshape influencer gambling promos, forcing disclosures on “real” bets. As Missouri sports betting rolls out, watch for more heat on crypto casinos.
