Our remote is an IR remote, so please aim our remote to your TV box directly, or there may have something blocking the signals for your TV box. If it still could not work with your TV box, maybe you need to unpair your original remote first. Sometimes you need do as follow:
1. Unpair TV, press and hold the “Menu” and “Left” buttons for 6 seconds to unpair!
2. To pair TV, you need set the SAT of remote to TV first, then press and hold the “Menu” and “Right” buttons for 6 seconds to pair!

About your remote ( aluminum or white ) uses IR technology ( Infrared ).If there are nearby devices with IR (the others of TV ), link your remote to you primary TV to prevent interference.If not, you don’t need to link your remote. You can link your emote ( aluminum or white ) only to an TV ( 3rd generation or earlier ).Siri Remote and TV Remote work with only one TV at a time and don’t support TV ( 2nd or 3rd generation ).

It is NOT Siri remote, NO Voice control, NO Touch Pad function. Certain Apps (e.g. Zwift) are designed only to use a touch interface and will not work with this remote!

This remote control is not the original remote control, but it can work, as well as your original remote control. If you find that this remote can only work at close range (e.g. <10 ft), something may block the signal of your Apple box, such as you put the box in a cabinet or closet, or behind the TV.

Please know that this remote is an IR remote for Apple TV Box, NO voice function, NO Touch Pad function, NO volume control. Please use your TV remote for volume adjustment. If it still couldn’t work, please unpair your original remote. 1) Please use your original remote to “Settings > General > Remotes” to unpair; 2) If no original remote, please “install the Remote App on IOS device > Tap the Add Apple TV button to pair the App with your Apple TV > Then use the App to unpair original remote (Make sure your Apple TV and IOS device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and running the latest version of their respective software if you couldn’t add Apple TV).
